Our Founder + Director - Dean Worthy
Our Founder + Director, Dean Worthy, has worked behind the pass in the kitchen of a number of fine dining restaurants in Sydney for over 20 years. With a creative eye and experience in designing menus that suit any concept, Dean serves up the whole package for our highly valued Behind The Pass clients.
Growing up working in his parents’ hospitality venue as a teenager and always having fresh and interesting ingredients around, naturally evolved into Dean falling in love with food and the hospitality industry from an early age. With vast experience leading various high profile kitchen teams including hatted restaurants, catering companies, high volume bistros and cafes, Dean prides himself on staff retention and creating a positive culture in the kitchen brigades he has led.
Dean’s passion for quality food is infectious and he lives it in every facet of his life, from fishing and growing his own vegetables, to sourcing the best local produce wherever he travels.
